The purpose of the VHS Seed Library is to promote health, nutrition and food self-sufficiency.  Specifically, the seed library offers an accessible, free source of locally adapted plant seeds, supplied and cultivated by VHS teachers, staff members, students and community members, for increasing consumption of wholesome food and learning how to build food self-sufficiency.
