Registration

Phase I: Parents need to update your ParentVUE account. This process can be completed from home. If you have any problems please call the school. Here is the link to update your account My Student Log In

New Student Registration: We will only accept students who live within the Valley attendance area or have an approved APS transfer. New student registration will be on Monday, Aug. 5 through Thursday, Aug. 8 from 7:30am-11:30am in the Main Office. Please bring the following: Two current bills with physical address (not PO Box) ie. PNM gas, mortgage, lease or rental agreement with registering parent’s name on agreement, shot records, WD from previous school and current transcript.

Phase II: Student Registration will be on Monday, Aug. 5th from 8:00am-6:30pm in the gym lobby. This registration is for all students who have pre-registered prior to Aug. 5. **This is the only day we will have registration.

IDs: Students will be issued a temporary ID at registration. Each student will receive their permanent ID with picture after school starts.

Counselors: Counselors will be available in the Media Center upstairs computer lab for students who need scheduling adjustment for graduation purposes. Counselors schedule for the week of 8/5-8/7:

Monday 8/5- Seniors 8:00am-1:30pm

Tuesday 8/6- Underclassmen 8:00am-1:30pm

Wednesday 8/7- Underclassmen 8:00am-1:30pm

Schedules: Please note that all course selections are final. Schedule changes will only be made for the following reasons:

1. Need to fulfill a graduation requirement.

2. Failed course from previous semester.

3. Changing to a course with a higher degree of difficulty in the same subject area (if space is available).

4. Completion of summer school coursework

5. A gap in schedule due to a missing class (less than seven classes)

All schedule changes must be complete within the first 10 days of the semester. A class dropped after that time will result in a W/F for the course.

Parking Permits: Every student who drives a vehicle and parks their vehicle on campus must have a parking pass. During the week of Aug. 5th-16th, students can purchase a parking permit for $25.00. To purchase parking permits please see Ms. Lucero in main office. After that, the price of a parking pass will be $35.00. When purchasing a parking pass you will need the following: Parent/student signature form, current driver’s license, proof of insurance, current auto registration and student ID.

Supply Fees: All outstanding supply fees will need to be paid at registration.

Ninth Grade Jump Start: Our 9th grade jump-start day will be on Friday, Aug. 9th from 8:30am-11:00am. The jump-start will begin in the gym
