First Step to FAFSA: FSA ID
The FSA ID is a username and password combination you use to log in to U.S. Department of Education (ED) online systems. The FSA ID is your legal signature and shouldn’t be created or used by anyone other than you. You’ll use your FSA ID every year you fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form and for the lifetime of your federal student loans.
To create your FSA ID, you will need: Your social security number, a cell phone, and a personal email address.
FAFSA
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid is a form completed by current and prospective college students in the United States to determine their eligibility for student financial aid. By completing your FAFSA you could be eligible for grants, work study, or federal student loans.

Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE)
Western Undergraduate Exchange
The Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) is an agreement among 16 member states and territories, through which 160+ participating public colleges and universities provide steep nonresident tuition savings for Western students.
Through WUE, eligible students can choose from hundreds of undergraduate programs outside their home state, and pay no more than 150 percent of that institution’s resident tuition rate .
